Cat B up to 9 seats and People Carriers
DDTC provides minibus training for public and private organisations, individuals, schools, and academies covering categories B, D1 and lite minibuses.
Drivers who have D1 (101) on their licence may be able to drive a minibus up to 17 seats including the driver on a ‘NOT for hire or reward’ basis.
Driving a minibus is significantly different from driving a car. A minibus is longer, wider, higher, and heavier than a car, therefore the steering, handling and braking characteristics are markedly different. Practical training and regular assessments ensure that drivers do so with the confidence, knowledge and understanding to do so safely.

- 3.5hr DCC Minibus Familiarisation Training/assessment and Test £290
- 1.5hr DCC Minibus Assessment £150
- 3.5hr DCC Cat B up to 8 passenger seats Familiarisation Training/assessment and Test £290
- 1.5hr DDC Cat B up to 8 passenger seats Refresher £150
- 3.5hr Minibus Lite Familiarisation Training/assessment and Test £290
- 1.5hr Minibus Lite Assessment £150
